To the Woman Who’s Weary from Worry, This Is for You

For years, I lived with a mind full of anxiety, even shadows of depression. As a creative thinker, my thoughts were constantly moving: ideas, visions, and dreams. But with all the mental activity, I lacked something essential—inner peace.

Stillness. Rest. A quiet soul.

In my search to find it, I turned to the tools the world offered—solo travel, mindfulness, yoga, energy healing, crystals, even psychics and other "spiritual" things. These practices seemed to promise peace, and for a time, they seemed to help. In fact, they seemed to help so much so that it led me to want to teach and have my own "spiritual" coaching practice and business aimed at empowering women. I also pursued healing through therapy. But deep down, there was still something missing. It felt like I was constantly reaching, performing, and striving to earn something I could never quite grasp.

Then came a turning point.

At the end of 2020, I watched someone I respected publicly share how she left her New Age business behind and found true peace, not through another practice or performance, but through a true believing relationship with Jesus.

That testimony, although at first I resisted, gently opened a door of faith.

I had spent most of my life avoiding Jesus, thinking He was just about religion. But curiosity grew, and one quiet night in my room, I said a quiet prayer of surrender to God. I had no idea that moment would change everything.

I encountered and was filled with the Holy Spirit that night, not an idea, not a concept, but the very Spirit that Jesus gave on the cross for anyone who chooses to believe. And with that came the peace, rest, and inner stillness I had been searching for, but did not expect to find like this. It wasn’t something I achieved. It was freely given, without needing to do another ritual, practice, or anything else... "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Galatians 5:22-23, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Mathew 11:28

As I walked more with God throughout my journey of faith throughout the years now, I discovered that God doesn’t just allow us to lay down our worries—He invites us to:

“Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you.”
—1 Peter 5:7

The God of all creation cares for you. He wants your heart whole, your soul quieted, and your mind sound. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind." 1 Timothy 1:7. Even if you have the Holy Spirit and are not currently experiencing the full fruit of a sound and peaceful inner life and Spirit, this is an invitation to inner rest, surrender and know that this is God's heart for you.

You don’t have to manage everything all by yourself, perform to be loved, or live under the weight of fear. You were made for wholeness, you were made for deep abiding peace, even in the storm. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears is not complete in love. 1 John 4:8

So even if you’ve been caught in a cycle of striving and simply exhausted from trying to fix everything all by yourself, there is another way. A way of deep-seated seated true Biblical surrender and inner rest for the weary soul.

It’s not another tool, methodology or ritual. It’s a Person.
His name is Jesus.

If you’ve never fully experienced the gift of the Holy Spirit or this deep abiding inner rest for the soul that is freely available to all, here is your invitation. He’s not far off. He’s near. And He offers you the tangible kind of peace that no practice, performance, or striving could ever create.

The Promise of Salvation

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved… for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
—Romans 10:9,13

Let go of the weight you were never meant to carry.
Receive the deeper inner rest that only God can give.

The Scripture on Salvation to receive salvation as a gift available to all:

“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Roman’s 10:8-13
